Un Sua is a collection of objects, including jewellery, made from 10 mm diameter aluminium rods that are randomly bent using a hand bender for air-conditioning pipes and then coated with paint. The ends of the objects, excluding the bangle, contain embedded magnets, allowing them to be attached to steel surfaces or connected to one another. This collection builds upon Un Nari, a previous series by Siin Siin presented as architectural hardware such as doorknobs and shelf handles. Un Nari introduced organic, creature-like qualities to architectural details, treating them as autonomous objects rather than mere functional elements. In Un Sua, this autonomy is further emphasised, allowing the objects to exist independently as jewellery and other forms while maintaining a connection to architecture through magnetic attachment.
