Created as a collaboration between Batten and Kamp and architect sculptor Henry D’ath, Bolete is a system of sculptural coffee tables made from hand-carved Camphor wood and Taishan Granite.Configurable overlapping surfaces grounded by heavy stone give the Bolete series both flexibility and the permanence of sculpture. This limited edition series was released through publication on Design Boom in 2024.“The series comes from our shared New Zealand sensibility – natural materials, robust forms, simplicity.
